Statement – Call on entities and candidates to respect the Code of Conduct in local elections

28 September 2017 – In order to successfully hold local elections on 22 October 2017, for the democratic advancement and consolidation of Kosovo institutions, as well as in accordance with the Law on Local Elections and the Code of Conduct (Election Regulation No. 11/2013), the Balkan Group calls on political entities, candidates and coalitions: – To engage for the welfare of free, fair and democratic elections; – To conduct a dignified campaign within democratic norms without using hate speech and respecting each-other; – To respect election results and their implementation; – To observe applicable laws and regulations. [Click on the link to read the entire statement]
